Rappelz is hard to describe, it's like a puppy that bites you, but you can't stand mad at it because it gives you that sad look with high level Rappelz Rupees pet. Let's break it down into pros and cons for a faster and easier read
Pros: Great Party system. Yes, but it's good to note that great party systems are stupid when 50% of the games players don't speak English.
Great Guild system. Er, I suppose that all you really do is join a guild and talk to people though. And siege is at the same time every day so said 50% rappelz gold of non-english speakers can't even do it at all (for the most part). Not to mention sieging is nearly pointless.
Nice looking graphics (bout the same as Lineage 2 or Guild Wars IMO).Yeah I agree, I like the player armours.
Nice community. For the most part, but it's just too hard in DPs when people don't speak the same language.
Good Pet system. If you think this crap is good then you would have had an orgasm playing Epic 3's pet system. That one had a proper JP system instead of this "Screw your pets then sell rappelz money" system. And you could actually raise a nice pet as a breeder instead of having it capped at your level. Infact the only thing they got right was level not reverting back too 1 after evolution, and that didn't really even MATTER without level-based evasion to buy rappelz.
An auction house =D. True but where is my marketplace. What if I don't like auctions, seriously auctions are fun and all but you need a Normal way to sell items that doesn't involve leaving your computer on overnight or spamming shout with WTS's.
Cons: One HUGE grindfest (of course), you'll need to rely on the cash shop (for Stamina Savers) to level up past 80 Rappelz Rupees. Broken/Poorly explained skills (they say they will fix them in the upcoming E5, don't count on it). The lag, the very long loading screens (not my system, it's the game itself). The drop rate is TERRIBLE for level 100+ rappelz money Equips. People are already levels 130+ rappelz gold and they still haven't finished with the level 100+ gear (R5 is level 100, R6 is level 120).
Overall, the game is good, but it feels unfinished. It's worth a try, but don't get your hopes up.
