GamingGutter is introducing Rappelz to the gaming community. I feel that it fits in well with the range of games(RPG etc) currently on GG and that this is a game that has big potential. It is relatively new, developed in Korea, and therefore I believe we have a good chance of being the first community to cover it well and become a prominent resource for the World of Warcraft-like game.
Launched in early November 2006, Rappelz is a new MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Game). However, unlike many games such as World of Warcraft, Rappelz is completely FREE and available for direct download. The Rappelz Rupees game has been developed and released by the Korean group Gala-Net (gPotato), who also created Flyff (another PRG).
Gameplay of rappelz gold is similar to the widely popular World of Warcraft in that it is set within a medieval fantasy world dominated by three competing races; the Deva (Guardians of Light), the Asura (Servants of the Dark), and the Gaia(Protectors of Nature). Rappelz has therefore been compared to other PRG games such as WOW and Lineage II. Rappelz features a truck- load of quests to keep all online gamers entertained and busy, Rappelz Rupees players can also form groups to tackle quests together as well as being able to have a pet to aid you in battles (again much like WOW). Characters and pets in Rappelz have the ability to be customized and level up during the game.
As has been previously mentioned, Rappelz is 100% free of subscription charges. Gala-Net are able to generate revenue by selling buy rappelz special items from the "Cash Shop", which supposadly give the player an in-game advantage over other Rappelz play.
The latest update for Rappelz was released on June 2008 with the Epic V expansion, enhancing the game play within Rappelz a step further. This is an extensive and gripping rappelz gold game, which is yet to grow into a world-wide sensation, as World of Warcraft has over the last 18 months.
The main pull of rappelz money for experienced online gamers is that it's free and new. It seems that gPotato are continuing to develop and expand Rappelz, meaning many more exciting challenges and expansions to come. In the meantime go ahead and Download Rappelz for free (if you haven't already)!
