I have been playing Rappelz two months, it is my first online game, I am also the first time in the game to spend money on, I bought rappelz Rupees and I played very happy.
Rappelz is a game I have some heavily mixed feelings about. The main attraction would be that it is free. The graphics are sort of good. They may look pretty good at first glance, but even maxing out the settings reveals some of the less appealing textures and other graphical issues. Lag is horrific in town, making it very difficult to go to the quest naps and shop for items. Pet system seems kind of awkward. Again, at first glance, it looks like a very deep pet system. Yet, pets although can level up and get skills, their stats do not rise making them very easily killed. And even though it¡¯s the name of the game, getting them and raising them is difficult especially beyond the more basic pets. There is no stat customization so the game seems to be geared more toward the casual player. The quests in the beginning aren't
fun and it'll take a while before the game really opens up. So, in my opinion, this game is yet another average MMORPG but focused on the graphics, which I find do not look very nice artistically. If the pet system was nicer then I could say, play this game for the pets but as it stands it seems like it tried to hard in everything and didn't do all that much right. However as free MMORPGS go, this is still one of the better ones. You'll just have a HUGE file to download and lag could be heavy. So it's recommended that you have a pretty good computer and internet connection.
These are I know of Rappelz, all in all, I think this is a good game, and its rappelz gold is also cheap. I will continue play this game.
